Mi Polin
A transparent mezuzah dotted with braille.
Yellow paper daffodils — reminiscent of the real flowers that Marek Edelman, the last survivor of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising, used to receive each year from an anonymous giver.
Mezuzot created from the traces left on the doorposts of Jewish homes in pre-war Poland.
These pieces and more of the unique works by Mi Polin—a contemporary, Jewish design studio founded by the Warsaw-based duo of Helena Czernek and Aleksander Prugar—will be on display. Each piece tells the story of Poland, Jewish tradition, and spirituality. Mi Polin is a sign of the revival of Jewish life in Poland.
