Moon Over Buffalo is a raucous farce about a dysfunctional theater troupe performing at the Erlander Theatre in Buffalo, New York, in 1953. The diva lead actress, Charlotte Hay, is barely tolerant of her philandering semi-alcoholic husband, George. On the brink of a disastrous split-up, they receive word that they might just have one last shot at stardom. Frank Capra is coming to see their matinee, and if likes what he sees, he might cast them in his movie remake of The Scarlet Pimpernel. Unfortunately for George and Charlotte, everything that could go wrong, does go wrong. Will the troupe manage to give the performance of a lifetime before the moon rises over Buffalo?
