The Jewish Community Federation mourns the passing of Richard N. Goldman, a consummate catalyst and innovator who loved to take a creative idea and pursue it to its ultimate success.

Richard was proud of his Jewishness, passionate about Jewish affairs, Jewish studies, the State of Israel, the Federation and its Israel Center. A former president and board member of the Federation and major donor for the past half-century, he believed in young people and invested in outreach to the next generation, encouraging them to appreciate being Jewish and to participate in their community.
