Scope & Deliverables

The Rimon Club needs help making its website (www.rimonclub.org) more user-friendly on the back-end and editable by a layperson. The site is built in Wordpress. It was created by a non-professional and has mistakes/glitches, which make it difficult for a layperson to navigate.

Ideally, the consultant would be able to correct whatever needs to be fixed to make the site more user-friendly so that a layperson can post updates and photos, and archive events easily. The consultant would also train the Executive Director on how to make basic updates and changes to the website. It would be also very helpful if the consultant were willing to check-in with the Executive Director monthly and assist with technical issues that the Executive Director cannot resolve.

Organization Description

The Rimon Club, located in Redwood City, strives to educate, inspire, and promote greater understanding of the role of Israel to Jewish people in the Diaspora. Through a variety of events and collaboration with many other organizations, the Rimon Club organizes community lectures, flash mobs, rallies, on-line campaigns, and most recently, Club Z: an informal education program for teens.

Project Results

With a functioning website, the Rimon Club will be able to keep the community updated on its various events, opportunities, etc. We will also be more effective in communicating with our current cohort of students and supporters. We will also have the ability to update, record and report on past events on a timely basis.
