In order for our community to thrive, we need to provide an infrastructure that supports all its members in all stages of life. That means providing our children with an excellent and affordable education, one that lays the foundation for a strong Jewish identity. That means promoting Jewish culture and public affairs so that who we are as a people remains valued and relevant. It means taking care of the vulnerable, including our elders here in the Bay Area and around the world, and continuing to help Israel fulfill its promise as a nation that provides equal opportunity to all its citizens. And it means striving to innovate, so that we continue to progress as a community, and work together to address the challenges and opportunities that face us all.
