An exciting afternoon of water play for children ages 2-5 will bring to life the story of Simchat Beit HaShoeva (Water Carrying Ceremony), a highlight of the Sukkot festival in ancient days. On Monday, September 27, 2010, from 4:00 to 5:30 pm, at South Peninsula Hebrew Day School (1030 Astoria Drive, Sunnyvale), the PJ Library in Silicon Valley will co-sponsor an afternoon including water color painting, juggling, and listening to songs and stories about water. Water conservation will also be promoted. Please RSVP by September 22 to pjlibrary@jvalley.org or (408) 357-7512. (Siblings welcome.)
