It's a time to learn, laugh, share and celebrate while we engage in tzedakah. This year, we will also perform tikkun olam, as we participate together in a special service project for the children of New Orleans.
Additionally, a very special award, the Kipnis-Wilson/Friedland Award, will be given to our very own Sunny Kaplan! The award is given to one woman from each WP community throughout the country. It will be presented to all the women at the ILOJC. The award is the contribution of Norma Kipnis-Wilson and Toby Friedland (z”l), the founders of the Lion of Judah, and honors women of distinction in our Federation communities.
