The Jewish Community Federation is proud to celebrate the richness and diversity of the greater San Francisco Bay Area by commemorating Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Month! Each June our LGBT Alliance collects and presents a number of ways our community leaders can participate Jewishly in the festivities of Pride.

Celebrate Pride Month
Multiple Bay Area Jewish Congregations celebrate Pride each year by hosting a Pride Shabbat. If you would like to organize a Pride Shabbat or community ritual at your Bay Area Jewish congregation please connect with us! We would love to help you discover unique Drashot & help spread the word about your Pride celebration! Here are a few of the congregations that have communicated with us that they are organizing a Pride Shabbat, Potluck, Oneg or Havdallah gathering during Pride month this year:

In San Francisco, at Congregation Sha'ar Zahav
In Sonoma, at Congregation Shomrei Torah
In Marin, at Congregation Rodef Shalom
In the East Bay, specifically at Chochmat Halev in Berkeley in cooperation with Kehilla Community Synagogue, and the Aquarian Minyan
In the South Bay the 5th Annual Pride Shabbat, specifically at Congregation Shir Hadash in Los Gatos in cooperation with Temple Emanu-El of San Jose and Congregation Emeth of Gilroy - Morgan Hill
In San Francisco, as part of the Resident Programs and Services program for Pride Month at The Jewish Home, a month of pride volunteer fun occurs! Please contact Mark to be involved in the annual planning!

The 42nd Annual San Francisco Pride Weekend. The LGBT Alliance has a booth this year amongst the major festiveness at Civic Center and we need volunteers!
The 36th Annual Frameline LGBT International Film Festival
The 5th Annual Contra Costa County LGBTQ Pride Picnic & BBQ
Napa Valley LGBTQ Pride including the annual young adult pride dance
The 11th annual Fresh Meat transgender & queer performance Festival
The 14th Annual Queer Arts Festival
The 8th Annual Trans March
The 35th Annual Santa Cruz Pride Rally
The 20th Annual Dyke March
Sonoma County Pride Parade and Celebration along the Russian River in Guerneville
The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence Pink Saturday Castro Street Party
Plus, in August we have San José Pride and the East Bay Oakland Pride festival will return Labor Day weekend along with the 11th annual Sistahs Steppin In Pride East Bay Dyke March & Festival!
