Bay Area Walk Against Genocide
2nd Annual Bay Area Walk with the SF Bay Area Darfur Coalition

Learn how each of us can help end and prevent genocide. Meet local survivors and descendants of victims of genocide. Confirmed speakers are Carl Wilkens, the only American who stayed in Rwanda during the genocide; Yassir Kori, an exile from the Nuba Mountains region of Sudan; and Dr. Gregory Stanton, President of Genocide Watch. Performance artists include Martin Luther McCoy and Tunu Soundz, African drummers.

The Walk will benefit the work of the Center for Justice and Accountability (www.cja.org), The Genocide Education Project (www.genocideeducation.org) and the SF Bay Area Darfur Coalition (www.darfursf.org), the walk’s host.
