How do I enter an event on the calendar?
You must have a user profile and be logged-in on the site to post an event. Once you are logged-in go to the main calendar page
www.jewishfed.org/calendar and click on the Submit an Event button. Then just fill out your event's details in the form that appears on your screen. You can also
watch a video tutorial on posting an event to the calendar, which will take you through the whole process, or
read the written instructions.
I entered an event on the calendar. Why isn't it showing up?
Events are reviewed and approved by JCF staff before being posted, and usually go live within 1-2 business days. If you work for one of our community beneficiary agencies you can
email the webmaster and ask for permission to post directly to the calendar without moderation.
For a tutorial on how to post an event to the calendar, please
watch this video.
How can I access my online account information?
Go to the
Manage Accounts tab in the Be A Philanthropist section. You can adjust settings for your profile on this website if you are logged in, or access your secure JCEF Online account. You may also
go directly to your profile on this site now.
How do I change my newsletter preferences or unsubscribe?
You can change your preferences or unsubscribe by emailing the
JCF webmaster. Be aware that if you click the unsubscribe link in the newsletter you will be blocked from receiving any future newsletters from us.
Can I still visit the old website?
While we no longer update
the old site, we understand there is still content there that people may want to see. Only the old home page and a few select pages re-direct you automatically. You can still use an old URL if you have one, or go to an archived version of the
old homepage (
no longer updated).
This site is SO big - how can I easily find what I am looking for?
Use the search bar in the upper right corner and enter the terms you are looking for, or visit our
Site Map for a birds-eye-view of the major content on this site.
Great site - who built it and what platform is it on?
Thanks! The site was designed by our Marketing team with web development experts at
Halosys, a Santa Clara based web consultancy. We build it on a free open-source content management platform called
Drupal, which is a highly flexible system for publishing, managing, and customizing content on a website.
