Capacity Building
Each year, millions of Jews in the San Francisco Bay Area and around the world are helped by philanthropists like you who contribute to our Annual Campaign as well as our additional avenues of philanthropy like the Fund for Gay and Lesbian Causes in Israel. These dollars sustain Jewish life, supporting the programs and services that make an impact on the lives of Jews everywhere.
By informing LGBT Alliance members of the multiple ways to be a philanthropist, we are developing leadership and cultivating a deeper interest in tzedekah, justice. From volunteering, to education and networking opportunities, LGBT Alliance members grow their philanthropic understanding, leadership and connections. It is impact you can see. As a result of involvement with the LGBT Alliance, our leaders are:
- Increasing the amount of their philanthropic giving
- Giving more strategically to integrate their values with their motivations
- Expanding their volunteer commitment
Professional & social networking groups and volunteer events accessed through the LGBT Alliance allow those with shared values and interests to connect with each other as members of an active and compassionate community.
