Board members are the volunteer leaders of YAD and act as ambassadors to the greater Jewish community. Board members are dedicated representatives of the entire Jewish Community Federation and are expected to engender enthusiasm about the importance of the organization’s work and its impact in the community.
The YAD board experience serves to build a community of leaders working together to cultivate connections across the young adult Jewish community and to the Federation and its beneficiary agencies. The experience will provide you with an opportunity to cultivate friendships, to build community and to develop your leadership skills and volunteer experiences in a Jewish context.
The YAD Board includes four teams: community building, leadership development, campaign and outreach; is led by the President and Executive Committee; and works closely with Federation staff. See this year’s YAD board. If you would like to be a part of the fun next year send an email to Alia.
