Who We Are:

The Foundation Council is a select group of funders in the Jewish and general communities, convened by the Jewish Community Endowment Fund to enhance Jewish philanthropy as well as to educate and engage current Endowment donors.  The Council is also a forum to exchange information on emerging needs within the local and world Jewish communities and showcase expert information in the areas of best practices, grantmaking, evaluation, and other issues of interest to the group.  Members of the Council are private and supporting foundation trustees, professional staff and donor advised fund holders engaged in significant philanthropy.  There is no charge to participate in Foundation Council, no soliciation of funds, and there is a high degree of confidentiality.
